An AV amplifier compatible with Dolby Pro Logic and 3-1 stereo, also equipped with a rear stereo function.
It features 12 surround modes, allowing for free selection to suit your mood.

Conventional surround systems placed two speakers in the rear, but the sound produced was the same (monaural). The TA-VE700 uses a technique called phase shift to create pseudo-stereo sound for the rear speakers, to actively enhance the sense of spaciousness. This allows for the reproduction of a more expansive and three-dimensional sound field than before.
It is equipped with 150W power amplifiers for the front L/R and center channels.
It supports the 3-1 stereo format of high-definition (HD) standards, allowing you to connect to the HD audio output of a high-definition television and enjoy the original HD sound.
It employs cursor key operation for improved operability.
Digital Processing Control (DPC), which allows you to adjust the sound to your liking through digital processing, can also be done using the cursor keys. The cursor keys are also equipped on the included remote control, allowing for tuning from the actual listening position.
The heat sink for the power transistors uses a high-rigidity aluminum heat sink with high heat dissipation efficiency, which suppresses harmful vibrations and is less likely to cause sound muddiness.
Input terminals are also provided on the front, which can be used to connect portable devices.
The learning remote control is a multi-functional design that not only operates the amplifier itself but also allows for the main operations of Sony AV equipment. It can also read the remote control signals and operate equipment from other manufacturers if they are infrared remote control types. The volume on the main unit does not function with the remote control.
