Vintage Belgian Fire Helmet Evior Belgium Flaming Bomb Insignia Leather Liner

This is a fantastic piece of vintage firefighting history: a classic Belgian Fire Helmet! The helmet features a black lacquered dome with a wide brim, accented by a striking red rubber or plastic trim band. The front crest is a highly polished metal flaming bomb (grenade) insignia, a common motif in European military and emergency services (such as the French Gendarmerie or fire departments). The top is adorned with a polished metal crest or comb.

Crucially, the interior reveals a leather liner stamped with the maker's mark: "Evior BELGIUM" (also sometimes listed as "Evacor" or "Evor").
