For your consideration is this vintage glass pitcher vase produced by Neker Glass Company of Jerusalem, Israel. The bottom bears the original distributor's sticker that reads "Jerusalem / Made in Israel / Export House". Neker Glass was founded in 1959 and Jerusalem Export House in 1969, dating the piece after 1969. The export company no longer carries this glass. Neker Glass, or Nekker Glass, is known for their soft ancient patina' d glass that appears semi-opaque and is very thin measuring 3mm thick on the neck. This pitcher is on the smaller side measuring 4 inches diameter at its widest and 6.25 inches tall. The inner diameter of the opening is 1.1 inches. The pitcher could be used practically to hold anointing oil or just used as a display piece. The bulbous portion has three different Jewish Symbols painted upon it. Such a beautiful piece of art glass or Judaica to add to your collection.
